You are a law enforcement officer because you have what it takes. Do what only you can do for our community and don’t try to be someone you’re not.
Account for your actions:
You are going to make mistakes. Take responsibility when you do, learn, and don’t make excuses; just own it.
Keep others accountable:
Help your fellow officers do the right thing always. Allowing them to do otherwise reflects negatively on you, our organization, and our profession.
Exercise discretion wisely:
Your discretionary powers are a privilege. Your decisions must support our mission, honor our values, and embody our philosophy.
Remember our primary duty:
Maintaining the public trust is our primary duty. Failing to do so erodes confidence and jeopardizes our standing in the community.
